When working from home the home physical home environment partly becomes your work environment. The home work balance is mixed, both physically and mentally.

KEEPING THE USER CLOSE
Ideation was not only done on not only the interaction with the home environment and the product but also on the usability and portability of the design. Design visualisations were used to keep target user closely related to the project.
With very limited prototyping facilities cardboard prototypes were used for effective interaction and usability test

Final shape and structure
SCRAP TO SHAPE
Besides its great acoustic properties, PET felt enables Pactics to not only use their own polyester scraps again, but also to address Cambodia’s plastic waste problem, since felting is rather forgiving in terms of material use.
Using a simple heat press the structural rigidity and final shape is achieved.

With the product being sold to companies with new at home workers, Pactics is able to differentiate the design for different B2B customers and incoporate their brand indentity into their desing using sublimation printing.
